About Your Dentist

Mark J. Amidei, DDS

My patients deserve to have the information they need to make good choices about their oral health. That’s why I take the time necessary with my patients to explain their conditions and go over the options for their treatment. I listen to their needs and desires and tailor a plan that fills their desires. I enjoy the trusting doctor/patient relationship which helps relieve the stress they feel about seeing the dentist. Having grown up as a First Generation Northern Italian, my family values are first and foremost. All of my patients are approached with the affection and tenderness that I would expect for myself or my family.

My patients appreciate the conducive atmosphere to trust, which is very important with treatment acceptance and follow through. I find that many patients refer their friends and families to me for reasons well beyond just dentistry. It is all about comfort and a light touch. I take for granted that our facility is second to none and realize it is this way for our patients. I promise to provide you with my best ability and skill in a gentle, caring environment. I invite you to experience this for yourself. - Mark J. Amidei, DDS

Ira L. Shapira, DDS

I like to think of my patients as though they were members of my family. I want them to have the quality of care they can appreciate and that I would expect for myself or my family. That’s why I try to stay current with the latest findings in the field of cosmetic dentistry. Cosmetic dentistry is much more than white teeth but rather about healthy form and function including posture and facial contours as well as physiologic health. My patients deserve every advantage possible. I used to merely practice cosmetic dentistry, but now I find I am changing people’s lives. My patents involve the collection of stem cells that can be used in lieu of embryonic stem cells. - Ira L. Shapira, DDS, FICCMO

Dr. Shapira has vast experience in treating both Sleep Apnea and TMJ. He was a founding member of DOSA, The Dental Organization for Sleep Apnea, and in 2015 was a Chair on the American Alliance Temporomandibular Organization.
